Old style 5-rib
5-rib is the older style of sheet and will match most other types of fences and sheds that you may already have in your garden however it is considered to be less strong than newer versions such as Zig-Zag as it has less bends per meter.
Zig-Zag
The newer style of sheeting which has more bends per meter than most other profiles on the market making it very strong, for this reason this sheeting is preferred by JJB Fencing and is recommended by the supplier, it also has the benefit of having the same appearance on both sides, a problem which is inherent with styles like 5-rib which are considered to have a ‘bad’ side.
Lattice
The GramLat® 3D Lattice™ panels matches the appearance of traditional timber lattice but has the advantages of being pre-painted, low maintenance and termite resistant and has the same life expenctancy as the privacy steel fence.
Alternatively a more modern approach to traditional lattice is to use aluminium slats instead, having the same effect with a more contemporary feel another benefit of this style is that you can alter the gap size to increase or reduce the visibility.
Plinths
Colorbond does not retain soil or sand. if there are ground height differences between neighbours plinths are a viable solution for this and can be incorporated in the fence line. A plinth sits under the fence at ground level, It makes the fence look neat and tidy, keeps weeds, debris, snakes and water from entering your Property as well as keeping small dogs contained and preventing larger dogs from wanting to dig out. JJB fencing offers timber and steel plinths to suit your budget and tastes.
All our fences are installed to the manufactures specifications in order for you to receive your 10 year warranty, the most important factors for WA conditions are Concreting the post 900mm into the ground in sand, using 10 screws per post and using cement instead of rapid set concrete.
